Wizard of Oz- Altered letters

Hi all. I was recently browsing the Range where I came upon these free standing cardboard letters, as some of you may know Im a huge fan of the 1939 film 'the Wizard of OZ', thats when an idea struck me! I could decorate the letters 'O' and 'Z' with some pictures from said film. Here is what I came up with.
I gave the letters two coats of white paint before decoupaging pictures over the letters using some Decopatch glue that I purchased yonks ago.
Heres a couple of close up shots
I'm really pleased with how these turned out! Below is a picture of the letters in action.

Thanks for looking! Im going to enter this into  Craft my lifes challenge

Craft Haul

Hello! It's such a long time since I posted anything (hopefully someone is still there). I just haven't had the motivation to make any cards recently. However I went shopping today and bought some nice items and I'm desperate to play so hopefully I'll have a card to show you soon! I thought you might like to see what I've bought so without further to do here are my items:

The big stamp sets were £7.99 each or 2 for £10!! What a bargain!

a sheet of 12x12 dog word paper, I thought this was really different and at only 35p I bought two sheets!

This stamp set only set me back £2

However the biggest bargain of the day came in the form of these Woodware stamps which were £3.99 each or 8 sets for £10 making them £1.25 each!!!! There wasn't 8 designs that I could say I truly liked so me and a friend went halves!

I hope you liked looking at what I bought and I hope to see you all very soon!!!

Little Heart

Hi all. This card was made using a gorjuss girl stamp called 'little heart'. I followed a sketch which can be found at CPS

I used a piece of papermania paper, it's got a lovely felt feel. It looks lovely but was horrible to cut, I ended up cutting it out by hand so please forgive me if the lines aren't quite straight!

I decoupaged her dress to add dimension.

The sentiment is by Personal Impressions.

little owls

I made this card using a stamp from Trimcrafts 'neighbourhood' range.
I stamped using Tim Holtz distress ink 'vintage photo' and coloured the owls using the same ink before cutting out and attaching to a scalloped circle.
I added a little owl charm to the ribbon tied with button twine.

21st birthday

This card was a commission for a males 21st Birthday. I find male cards really hard to make so I am quite pleased how this one turned out.

The papers were a freebie with a magazine. The numbers are papermania typography stamps which I stamped and embossed in gold before cutting out and attaching to my card using foam pads to add some depth to the card.

hang me up to dry

I made this card after feeling inspired by a sketch over at Sketch and Stash

I used a stamp called 'hang me up to dry' which is from the Gorjuss range. I coloured the gorjuss girl using promarkers and decoupaged her dress for extra dimension.

The papers are from a paper pad by K&Co called 'Sparkly Sweet' and the sentiment is by Personal Impressions.

I added a bow and two sparkly pins to finish.

Ballerinas

These cards I made to use up some of my old stash.

I've lost the packaging for the ballerina stickers so I have no idea what company they are by. The papers are from a first edition pad which I think is called sweet owl???? Feel free to correct me if that's wrong.
Hope you like them x

Bella and Butterfly-scents and sentiments

Hi all long time no post. Seem to have been so busy with work recently. I recently stayed with relatives in Barnsley and popped into the craft shop called 'Scents and sentiments' they started out selling handmade soaps and cards and have now expanded to the craft side. I purchased some lovely items including the papers and stamp I used on this card.

The stamp is called Bella and Butterfly and is by a company called Wild Rose studio. I coloured her in using promarkers and added glitter to the middle of the flowers and the butterfly's body.

The papers are from a pack by Wild Rose studio called Vintage Rose.

Well I hope you like my card and if you are ever in the Barnsley area pop into Scents and Sentiments it really is a lovely shop with friendly staff.

CPS #12

This is the card I made to enter the challenge here http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/2012/02/cps-5th-anniversary-day-12-with-lisa.html
The girl is a stamp by lili of the valley coloured using promarkers.

The sentiment is by Personal Impressions stamped onto papermania cardstock.

I made the sun by using Papermania capsule papers, the circle is die cut and the triangles by hand. The ribbon started out cream but I coloured using promarkers to match my card.
The sketch I followed for this card is below
