CHRISTMAS!!!!

Ive been busy making Christmas cards this week and thoroughly enjoying myself. Ive seen peoples cards where they have coloured onto Kraft card so thought Id try it for myself.
The stamp is by woodware and I coloured it using my gel pens (I had to dust these off its been that long since I used them).

Whats on your workdsek Wednesday 112

Well as you can see a BIG mess, no-one tidies up after they finish a project................ do they?

Corner bookmark.

I was browsing the internet when I came across this tutorial http://whimsystamps.blogspot.com/2011/03/bookmark-tutorial.html the tutorial was really easy to follow and this is how mine came out
I used a stamp set by Artistic Outpost featuring the Wizard of Oz (my favourite film of ALL time). I'm not ashamed to say I bought the stamp set for the ruby slippers only lol. The writing underneath the slippers reads follow the yellow brick road and underneath that it says " A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much others love you".

gift box!

I made this gift box after stumbling across this blog http://onthecards.blogspot.com/ and though hey I can do that!

They were so easy and so much fun to make that I decided everyone was getting a gift box this year!!! It was a great way to use up scraps of Christmas paper I had. You should really take a look at this lady's blog there is soooo much lovely inspiration on there!!!

Gone fishing!

This is another commission. As I don't make many men's cards this was a real challenge for me!
The little lad has been coloured in using promarkers and I then decoupaged his hair, sleeve, hood and lunch box.

I cut out the fishing rod and attached button twine behind to represent his line. The sentiment is computer printed using a font called bookworm (my favourite at the minute).

The papers I also downloaded from the clipart fairy and matted them onto shimmer card stock.

Posh Pooch!!!

This is a card I was commissioned to make from one of my work colleagues (I love it when people ask me to make cards, it gives me a challenge).
The card size is 6x6". I decided to make an easel card and used papermania typography stamps to hold the easel in place. The stamp is papermania pampered pets as are the papers and the sentiment is by craftwork cards.
I coloured the poodle using promarkers and added pale pink gems.

The flowers are also by papermania, I was going to use larger flowers but hadn't thought about the envelope so changed my mind last minute, the gems are there to disguise the glue lol. Actually looking at it now it looks like I put them there on purpose, so we'll stick to that version ;).

Inside the card.

cat candle

Hi all. This was my first attempt at using a stamped image to decorate a candle.

I used the tissue paper technique to do this, following one of the many tutorials on the internet. Im quite pleased with how it turned out and will definately be doing this again!
