Tilda goes shopping

My Mum asked for a card to give to her friend for a birthday, this lady will be celebrating a 'special' birthday so I thought I would keep the card young.
The Tilda stamp was a Birthday pressie and she is called 'Tilda goes shopping', I coloured her using promarkers and cut her out. I used 'lacey circles' by spellbinders and an xcut circle die, Tilda is stuck on these circles using pinflair. The papers are by Papermania and are from an old collection.
The sentiment is by one of my favourite sets called 'Double sayings' by Personal Impressions.

I added three black gems to the top right corner of the card to add some glitz.

Passion for Promarkers

This card I made for the Passion for Promarkers challenge which can be found here http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/ the theme is 'inspired by a song'

I chose the song 'I saw three ships' I know its a Christmas song but I had these cute pirate ships in my stash and I just had to ink them up!
The Promarker colours I used were: tan, cinnamon, midnight blue, cocoa, cobalt blue, china blue, cool grey 4 and cool grey 5. I used a treasure map paper from the 'Once upon a time stack' by DCWV.

The sentiment was 'Ahoy Matey!' was also in the same pirate stamp set which is by woodware.

For the finishing touch I added three Taupe gems to the bottom left corner.

Totally Gorjuss challenge

I made this card specifically to enter the totally gorjuss challenge blog which can be found here http://totallygorjuss.blogspot.com/  .

Wizard of Oz

As a MASSIVE fan of the Wizard of Oz, when I saw this clipart set I knew I had to have it! For once I also knew what I wanted to use it for!
I cut out and decoupaged part of the characters, Dorothy has glitter on her ruby slippers to make them sparkle!

I also added glitter around the Emerald city. This item is now going to take pride and place on my Wizard of Oz shelf (or shrine as my family like to call it!). The clipart can be found here http://www.jessicaweible.com/index.php?searchStr=wizard+of+oz&_a=viewCat&page=1

Gorjuss Christmas

Hi all one of my new years resolutions was to get a head start on my Christmas cards for this year! We'll see how long that one lasts lol!!! So heres my first Christmas card of the year.

I got one of these Gorjuss stamps for my birthday and now I think I'm hooked, this one is called 'Dropped'. I coloured here in using promarkers. I used forever friends Christmas papers and the sentiment is by Crafter's Companion.
The pearls are Papermania which I coloured with a metallic promarker, they are meant to be gold but seem to have picked up a greenish tint. Luckily the green goes with this card. Hope you like it!

Retirement

I made this card so I could play with my new stamps, this set is one of Papermania's new collection called 'Portabello Road'. I only really bought these stamps for the crown image to use on another project however they are a really nice set!
I printed the sentiment on to Kraft card before stamping the bus on the bottom right of the card. I stamped another bus also onto Kraft card, coloured with Promarkers and cut out. Before sticking the second bus onto the card I added some red ribbon across the front then attached the bus using pinflair. Three red gems in the bottom left finish the card. This card is actually quite small, only 3.8" square so it would be an excellent size for quick makes!
