Mannequin

This is my first play with the 'sewing room' die set by Tim Holtz.
I die cut it twice, once using Kraft and again using the paper pad mentioned in my Tilda post.

I added some polka dot ribbon (from the ribbon girl) and added a matching bow! That's it really, pretty simple but I really like it!

Tilda

Another card I made 'just because', Im on a roll at the minute............ lets hope it continues!
The image is coloured in with promarkers. The paper I used is a random pad I picked up at my local craft shop, it's 12x12 and at £5 I think it was a bargain!!!

The sentiment stamp is by personal impressions and I added some glossy accents to Tildas shoes.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

I made this card to enter this challenge found here http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.com/
The papers are 'little black dress' by Basic Grey and are absolutely gorgeous! The gold embossed paper is by Debbie Moore.

I stamped and embossed the birdcage in black ( I have no idea of the stamps name or manufacturer so if anyone can tell me that would be great!!!).

The sentiment stamp is by Personal Impressions.

mojo Monday Challenge

I made this card to play along with mojo monday's challenge which can be found here http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2011/12/mojo-monday-219.html
The papers are BoBunny 'et cetra' I'm really enjoying using these papers now I've stopped stroking them! The stamp is Inkadinkado, I stamped it using Tim Holtz's 'Vintage Photo'.

Magical Monday Challenge

I made this card especially for this challenge which can be found here http://magicalmondaychallenge.blogspot.com/   The theme for this challenge is pink and silver.
The stamp is by Nitwits ( I forget what it's called) and the papers are by Imaginisce Enchanted. I matted all the papers with silver card.
The fairy is coloured in with Promarkers and I've highlighted her wings with glitter glue.

Gorjuss!!!!

I made this card today just because I felt I hadn't crafted in a while for myself. I took inspiration for this card from issue 75 of papercraft essentials. I hope you like!
I used a 6x6" card blank with BoBunny 'Gabrielle' papers. The stamp is 'Little heart' by Gorjuss coloured in using promarkers.

DYSU challenge

I made this card so I could participate in the challenge found here http://doyoustackup.blogspot.com/2011/08/dysu-challenge-34-boy-or-man.html
The image is a free digi stamp which can be found here http://www.arthurs-clipart.org/index%20comp.htm I coloured the little cowboy using my promarkers. The papers are by papermania. I tied some string around the bottom and added a button.

Promarker challenge!

I've created this card specifically for the passion for promarker challenge which can be found here http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/
I found this challenge a little tricky as you can't use patterned papers EEK!!!! Anyway I had a go and really like the finished result!

The image is a digi stamp which I found here http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/sassystudiodesigns/forum/topics/fabulous-freebie-friday-8-26-11 which I coloured using my trusty promarkers. I inked up an embossing folder, which I think is from the pampered pets range by papermania, and embossed the bottom of the card.

CHRISTMAS!!!!

Ive been busy making Christmas cards this week and thoroughly enjoying myself. Ive seen peoples cards where they have coloured onto Kraft card so thought Id try it for myself.
The stamp is by woodware and I coloured it using my gel pens (I had to dust these off its been that long since I used them).

Whats on your workdsek Wednesday 112

Well as you can see a BIG mess, no-one tidies up after they finish a project................ do they?

Corner bookmark.

I was browsing the internet when I came across this tutorial http://whimsystamps.blogspot.com/2011/03/bookmark-tutorial.html the tutorial was really easy to follow and this is how mine came out
I used a stamp set by Artistic Outpost featuring the Wizard of Oz (my favourite film of ALL time). I'm not ashamed to say I bought the stamp set for the ruby slippers only lol. The writing underneath the slippers reads follow the yellow brick road and underneath that it says " A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much others love you".

gift box!

I made this gift box after stumbling across this blog http://onthecards.blogspot.com/ and though hey I can do that!

They were so easy and so much fun to make that I decided everyone was getting a gift box this year!!! It was a great way to use up scraps of Christmas paper I had. You should really take a look at this lady's blog there is soooo much lovely inspiration on there!!!

Gone fishing!

This is another commission. As I don't make many men's cards this was a real challenge for me!
The little lad has been coloured in using promarkers and I then decoupaged his hair, sleeve, hood and lunch box.

I cut out the fishing rod and attached button twine behind to represent his line. The sentiment is computer printed using a font called bookworm (my favourite at the minute).

The papers I also downloaded from the clipart fairy and matted them onto shimmer card stock.

Posh Pooch!!!

This is a card I was commissioned to make from one of my work colleagues (I love it when people ask me to make cards, it gives me a challenge).
The card size is 6x6". I decided to make an easel card and used papermania typography stamps to hold the easel in place. The stamp is papermania pampered pets as are the papers and the sentiment is by craftwork cards.
I coloured the poodle using promarkers and added pale pink gems.

The flowers are also by papermania, I was going to use larger flowers but hadn't thought about the envelope so changed my mind last minute, the gems are there to disguise the glue lol. Actually looking at it now it looks like I put them there on purpose, so we'll stick to that version ;).

Inside the card.

cat candle

Hi all. This was my first attempt at using a stamped image to decorate a candle.

I used the tissue paper technique to do this, following one of the many tutorials on the internet. Im quite pleased with how it turned out and will definately be doing this again!

WOYWW- 108

Well its Wednesday so I'm joining in on whats on your work desk which you can find here http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/
I decided to sort out my flowers today. I was running out of room so emptied the packets into card bags, I mainly decided to do this as I was getting fed up of my Prima flowers getting scrunched up in the tubes they came in. Well there you have it my work desk.

Papertake challenge

This card was made for papertakes challenge which can be found here http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/2011/06/sketch-57.html
The stamp was a free gift with this months simply cards magazine (love getting free stamps!!!). I used papermania papers and buttons I got last time I was in Barnsley.

I coloured the image using promarkers and tried my best to get a cloud effect in the background. The sentiment was also with the magazine.

cute

This is a card I made for the challenge here http://dianasstampingchallenges.blogspot.com/
I punched a circle out of blue paper and dry embossed the edges to create the button, I punched four holes and inked the edges of the button in blue ink. I didn't have any blue string so I coloured plain using the same blue ink pad I used to ink the button. I stuck the button onto forever friends paper using foam pads.
I added "cute as a" to the top left of the card using doodlebug simply sweet rub-ons (sorry you can't see it very clearly)

New baby

This is the card I made for this weeks challenge at Passion for Promarkers which can be found here http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/
The stamp is by woodware and is coloured using promarkers in the following colours: china blue, pastel blue, denim blue and blue pearl. I used forever friends papers and papermania papers. The letters are papermania and coloured in promarkers.

I added pale sparkly blue buttons to the pram wheels and gems to each of the corners of the panel. I stamped a hand print to the right side of the card.

A blue piece of gingham ribbon with a bow finishes the card off.
I am also entering this card into the daring cardmakers challenge which can be found here http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/
Something old: hand print stamp
Something new: the pram stamp
Something blue: that's kind of obvious!
I couldn't manage the something borrowed

Vintage

Another vintage inspired card made with items found in my stash.

CPS challenge

This is the card I made to enter this weeks CPS challenge which can be found here http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/
The stamp is papermania build a cake, the sentiment is personal impressions and the paper is from the forever friends black and gold. I used a tent fold card blank made from Kraft card stock (loving this stuff at the minute!!!)
I stamped each of the cake elements onto black card using gold ink and embossing powder before cutting out. I tied ribbon round the lower tier of the cake and added a bow then attached it to white linen effect card using foam pads. I then mounted this onto black card before adding to the paper panel.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment using gold ink and cut out with a 1" circle punch. I added gold gems to the corners of the cake panel.

Spring

Hi this was a quick card I made.
Im not sure where the stamp is from (or remember buying it lol). This is my first attempt at a vintage inspired card. I think the paper is Papermania and I added some lace to the side.

I tied a knot using a ribbon from my stash which I think I got in a K & Co set.
